I began as a temporary bookseller for the festive period and was invited to stay on part-time. The role was incredibly varied as there were responsibilities in store as well as preparing for online orders. I had initially applied as I was interested in taking on a person-facing role in between administrative or communications work and found the opportunity to discuss and learn more about books hugely satisfying.
