I co-founded a virtual reality education platform in 2016, which has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, and other major publications. My responsibilities and achievements with the company are: ● Liaised with C-level executives to secure contracts with 3 MNCs with revenues of $30+ billion ● Built the company from the ground-up, including to profit in mid-2017 ● Increased website traffic to 4,000+ visitors a month and mobile VR app downloads to over 150,000 ● Increased SEO to a domain authority of 50 (Moz.com) and worked on PPC campaigns ● Blog-writing, including a guest blog for the International Association of Business Communication (IABC) ● Gained an in-depth knowledge of emerging technologies, especially VR and AR. ● Short-listed at the VR Awards 2017 for Best Use of VR in Education and Training. ● Youngest entrepreneur to be interviewed live on BBC Business Live. In February 2017, VirtualSpeech was accepted onto a leading startup accelerator based in Silicon Valley, where I spent 3 months working.
