  • One For Sorrow
One For SorrowOne For Sorrow is a short story that follows an injured magpie through the forest on her journey to find safe shelter for the winter months. She is rejected because of the superstition about a lone magpie being an omen of sorrow, and finds kindness in unlikely places. This story is inspired by old myths and lore about why the trees lose their leaves every year, but the pine stays green and full throughout the seasons.

House Of IllustrationFor the House of Illustration competition brief, we had to illustrate 3 love poems to be used in an anthology selected and edited by Imtiaz Dharker. The three selected poems were ‘Wild Nights!’ by Emily Dickinson, ‘The Trick’ by Imtiaz Dharker, and ‘Good Morrow’ by John Donne.
