Working with Helen Jennings, I had the opportunity to contribute to the content published in the magazine by researching new and relevant photographers, stylists, designers, and musicians to be featured. I also used my hair braiding skills to help Cyndia Harvey create the sequel to her film titled 'This Hair of Mine'. The relationship with Helen was further fostered when she sought me out while in Lagos to assist her on two other shoots with Lakin Ogunbanwo.

On the first occasion of assisting Katy Lassen, it was for ALSO Journal. My job was much more than being a styling assistant. Here, I aided the construction of the set for the shoot as well as being a general runner for the team. I also assisted Katy on a Celine special shoot for Common & Sense Magazine.

Being on this course has trained me in creating a visual language for myself. Also, I have learnt to be aware of a brands visual identity and to stay loyal to it. I have been fortunate enough to work on live briefs with brands such as Lazy Oaf and Crowther/Plant.
The Visual Communication pathway allows me to be versatile in my creative responses i.e. I can work with pretty much any medium at my disposal eg Film, Photography or Graphics.
