About me

Stacey Hobbs is a passionate and dedicated artist, illustrator, designer and author with a variety of industry experience who’s traditional work gained her 8th place in the 99WorldArtists UK competition. As a recent graduate from London College of communication (UAL) with a BA in Illustration and Visual Media, she realised her growing love for compelling stories with charming life-like characters, and it is this that drew her towards the world of children’s books. She has recently written and illustrated her first children’s publication titled ‘The Bear & the Bird’, which will be published in the near future. Her skills range from traditional methods such as drawing, book binding and printing including mono and laser to digital media with experience creating animation/moving image content and producing digitally painted illustrative scenes. Softwares used include the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Indesign & Photoshop, Procreate and Microsoft Office, with knowledge of and practice in 3D modelling using Blender.
