- The Magician : Pt.2 Tarot seriesThe Magician is pt.2 of my Tarot inspired makeup series, which looks to create looks inspired by the Major Arcana of the Raider-Waite deck. For this look I wanted to embody to theme and imagery of the second card, The Magician. I looked to use a-lot of purples, to mimic that of the robes worn by the magician on the card. I also decided to shoot this look at night, as I wanted the star glitter used to create a more reflective look while making the model and the makeup centre stage. Makeup: M
- Fools Gold shootA home project created by myself during lockdown to keep up with my creative portfolio. I created this look and photoshoot based on the Major Arcana of the Raider-waite tarot deck. This look represents the first card in the series : The Fool. I was inspired more by the colours and imagery used found on the card itself, which is why I chose bright and bold colours. - Backstage Re-creation: Jeremy Scott SS'20 NYFW show.Part of the #RunwayMyWay team, I create digital content each season of Fashion Week, posting online step-by-step tutorials showing the re-creation of the looks from selected shows. Using products used backstage, it gives my audience an interactive peek to backstage life at Fashion Week. I am currently working as a Makeup artist for M.A.C Cosmetics, a global brand known for their vast range of cosmetics and skincare. It is in this job role that I have expanded my creativity, working on my coordination skills and colour theory. Precision and a keen eye for detail is also essential to this role, as it creates a striking difference when applying products on a customer in person. Being able to achieve a desired look that a client may approach myself with, and being able to execute it, shows that I have a good understanding of being able to envision a concept and manifest it in detail. Having the highest sales on my counter, I am able to produce good customer service leaving clients happy and satisfied with the experience they had, always wanting to return to the store.
Time keeping and punctuality are important in this job role, as well as flexibility and being able to work with a customers need. I am able to handle more stressful situations accordingly, always meeting a challenge head on and working till reaching a desired goal. Furthermore, during my time at M.A.C I have been given the role of VIVA GLAM Ambassador on my counter. This is a well respected role which helps to further the VIVA GLAM lipstick sales, thus raising money and awareness for people affected by HIV/AIDS. Part of this job role is creating a weekly look, featuring one of the VIVA GLAM shades. This is a great demonstration of my capability to research themes or current trends which will inspire myself to create interesting,innovative looks. This ,in turn, draws in customers, generating revenue and demonstrates my capability of working to a deadline.

My previous role was as an Art, photography and textiles technician at Stockwood Park Academy in Luton. Under this role I was asked to perform many tasks from routine setting up classes and activities for the children to helping within the classroom. Ordering, creation of exemplars and trip organizations are just a few of the other roles which I had to undertake in this role as well. It was as a technician I was also given the chance to help educate the students on certain subjects as well such as; photography, introductory Photoshop, sewing skills and various art techniques and methods. During my time here I was also able to improve on my own skills, both social and artistic, building my confidence and my ability to perform as an individual.
