Special Recognition at Equality Champions AwardsTrinity College DublinAs the designer of a 'Self-Care Package' I was awarded, along with the editor, a Special Recognition Award. This was a 20-page booklet that functioned as a physical resource pack for our society members and the general student populous. It covered topics such as sexual health, body image, checklists to stay on top of health/general wellbeing, positive strategies for coping with stress, as well as looking after the wellbeing of others. When designing the magazine I wanted to ensure it was accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of their previous knowledge of what self-care is, as well as keeping the tone light through creative collaging and font choice.
