In 2003, she attended New York University and studied contemporary art under the pioneering artist Peter Campus and American painter Keith Mayerson. In 2006 she received a BFA and proceeded to design fashion handbags and accessories for brands like BCBG Max Azria, Kate Spade, Coach, Rag & Bone, and others. (www.modarevise.com)
In May 2015 she founded her own creative studio ModaRévisé to dedicate herself as a visual artist, and use her art to explore the curious relationship between the mind and the many objects it begets.
What is the mind and how is it influenced, shaped, and sometimes manipulated by the objects it creates? What is an object and how does it shape the mind? For every artwork Stella conceives, it is created as a visual experiment, observation, and hypothesis incorporating different artistic techniques and technologies to manipulate, evaluate, and ultimately observe the viewer's mind.
By using mixed media of photography, hand illustration, and 3D printing technology, Stella welcomes you to enter her intersected world of art, technology, and design.
