Had the opportunity to do some work experience in the factory, print studio and design lab over the space of 4 days. The experience was extremely valuable to me, and made it easier for me to confirm that the interior industry is for me. After finishing the placement, I was offered another chance to come back on a paid 6 months experience, however I decided to continue with my integrated master for another year, and hope to follow up the previous oppurtunity.

    Clerkenwell Design WeekOrange box
Working in collaboration with Orange Box, designer a new stool cover using recycled materials from the cut offs that the company usually throw away, thinking sustainability. This was a group collaboration, and my design was shortlisted amongst five other students to be sewn up to cover stool in 3D, ready to be displayed at their exhibition in London, for the Clerkenwell Design Week in 2019. This opportunity allowed me to network round other exhibitions and set ups, where I met my contacts at Newmor Wall coverings.
