Stephanie Sounds is a London based singer-songwriter whose eclectic musical style has been shaped by the combination of her gospel roots and her love of varied music styles such as rock, folk and world music in her teenage years. The daughter of UK Gospel’s Godfather ‘Rev Bazil Meade’, it was only going to go one way and Stephanie was writing her one music from the age of 9 and touring with the choir from age 11. By the time she was 19 she was already a seasoned vocalist and was called upon to provide backing vocals for Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield. Since then she has been on of the UK’s most sought after backing vocalists working with acts such as Westlfe, Lemar and James Morrison. It’s her time with legendary dance outfit ‘Faithless’ though that she holds most dear, opening her up to a world of musical diversity.
