About me

Graduate from the University of West London with eight years’ experience using dslr cameras, filming music videos and events with these cameras in my past, I have in recent years moved on to the FS5 & FS7 shooting shorts. I’ve worked as a runner on two feature films, Eliminators (Universal Pictures) I communicated with crew, dealt with food and drink orders. Also, Romans (Dreamscape) duties included supervising other runners, driving to and from shops, equipment warehouses and taking food and drink to crew. Keen to develop these skills in a camera operating position, I’ve recently been involved in 6 short films during my 2nd and 3rd year, the first 2 being work experience where I was the camera operator, 1st short (Her Days) shot in Lisbon, Portugal, I had great communication with the DOP and I helped with lighting set ups, setting up and breaking down of all equipment on set as it was a small crew. 2nd film (Cole) I was asked by the Previous DOP of “Her Days” to be his camera operator again and this filled me with confidence, again I helped with lighting set ups, but this time with prep for the short, shot lists, recce and test shoots. I have since gone onto DOP 3 shorts in the past year, (Taste) which I dealt with lighting, set up, break down and camera operated. (Future Times) this was a horror so prepping lighting became much more important, camera movement and overseeing two members of crew, my gaffer and 1st ac. (Warden) my final major project, which I was DOP and camera operator, dealing with lighting, equipment and the overlook of visuals. The 6th being my Directing fiction in which I had to direct a small crew, during I used my previous skills as DOP, but became more interactive with the actors and how the story was to develop. Just before and during the Christmas period I have been working on my own independent projects alongside friends, as I enjoy being proactive and filmmaking as a passion.
