I'm a Northern Irish born, London- based producer with a wealth of experience in content creation across film and photography. I've co-founded and run two highly successful social drinks platforms, tippl and Delightful Drinks and built associated production businesses based on the strength of these. I've recently founded the creative collective Saturday Studios, teaming up with talented specialists to collaborate on brands and causes he's passionate about. Alongside his founder role, Steve is the executive producer and new business lead for the collective. Prior to this, Steve worked at Jamie Oliver, focusing on brand partnerships for his digital platforms. In this immensely varied and expansive position I played a key role in a growing commercial team. I have helped to acquire and deliver several high value campaigns with a wide range of clients across all Jamie Oliver Media channels: Desktop, Mobile, Food Tube, Drinks Tube, Social Media and print. Responsible for overseeing project management in the team which includes strategic analysis of briefs, creative idea generation, project scoping and planning, legal contracting, financial reporting and post campaign analysis. Lots of experience working on a wide range of campaigns within the commercial team including Hellmann's, Pilgrim's Choice, Visit Wales and LV=. Responsible for overseeing and developing the high profile Bacardi account across all touch points in the Jamie Oliver media and restaurant group as well as growing the Drinks Tube brand.
Worked on various pieces of business throughout my time at McCann but predominately on the B&Q, Premier Foods and Chevrolet accounts as well as gaining B2B and experiential experience with ExxonMobil. Highlights and Achievements include: Premier Foods: Branston Pickle • Low budget campaign creating a bespoke limited edition national anthem playing jar for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee • Driver for the PR during the campaign on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube • Social media campaign with the aim of reminding the younger consumer that Branston is the perfect complement to cheese • During short run, a unparalleled response rate of 39% on twitter to ‘@’ tweets Premier Foods: Paxo • Tongue in cheek online video campaign for stuffing brand Paxo to promote dwindling sales around the festive season • Forced a reappraisal of the brand's personality as well as gaining 80,000 video views on a nominal budget Premier Foods: Sharwood’s • Led from brief through strategy, research, creative and production on a overall Sharwood’s brand campaign • Created five TVC’s, with the Chinese New Year campaign increasing sales dramatically year on year during this period Chevrolet • Key UK contact for client and international production house • Created and supplied 200 pieces of creative in just over four weeks • Helped resurrect and restore confidence in a very fragile client relationship B&Q • Worked in a very small team to turn around 50 TV and 75 radio ads per year • Met improbable deadlines, repeatedly delivering on time, now feeling very comfortable with the TV and radio production cycle ExxonMobil • Central finance and adaptation contact for the EMEA zone • Managed and helped to create a $500,000 oil and gas consumer event in Qatar • Liaised with all international suppliers as well as running the event on the evening itself LOCOG • Worked on smaller projects as well as the extremely successful ‘Games Maker’ volunteering campaign
