- RedThis was an introductory animation to the York based magazine publisher 'Red Publication'. They wanted a very stylized look and feel so they suggested a 'pop-up' book theme and this is what I helped them come up with in the first instance. However they decided later on they wanted a much more corporate look, so a complete new design was made (On their website). However for an overall style and look, I was rather happy with this first inclination!
- FitbackThis was a 'explainer' 3D motion graphics animation to describe the nature of the onsite physio therapist organization 'Fitback'. I wanted to keep things in a similar style to the main logo/character design, keep a nice simple colour palette and have a very clean look. For what I wanted to achieve using the 3D animation was the best solution.

Work history
Director, Animator and Designer
A business I set up with a friend where I had a multitude of creative & director roles.
We grew to a staff level of 5, worked with a vast majority of clients ranging from the BBC,
small local businesses to the NHS.
I would often be very hands on: liaising with clients over the phone or face to face,
negotiating quotes, thinking up creative solutions & working to many kinds of budgets.
I managed many European students who would intern in the studio.
Most of all I would enjoy working my creativity on the many projects with the small team
within the studio.
Character Animation Intern

I had the experience of being an intern at this very inspirational animation
studio. Here I simply focused on character animation. I worked on a driving awareness campaign which involved animation of character walk cycles and vehicle animation.

Design for Digital Media Focussed on Animation

During this course I explored and practiced many design and media disciplines, but went on to focus on animation. Other disciplines included web design, live action film and flash game development.

A multitude of art and design disciplines. My 2nd year focusing on Graphic Design. I studied: Fine art, print making, clay sculpture, illustration, graphic design, 3D environment design and contextual critical theory.
