Steven Andrews is an American-born visionary storyteller, Union performer, and creative designer, community organizer and as well as a classically-trained tenor and a diplomatic communicator with Hollywood film and media as well as Political campaign experience and formative experience in arts lecturing and music pedagogy who has worked in visual art and graphic branding, and behind and in front of the camera in the motion picture, broadcasting and television market.
Steven was born to a centuries' old family lineage in the rolling hills of the Ohio Valley and quickly developed an interest in the arts. After training at CIM he took to New York City to begin his career, where he worked under the sharp eye and tutelage of an English-schooled actress and Princeton University professor of Literature. Steven is a specialist in historic and period performance and has a decade of stunt, historic and modern firearms handling, equestrian, and stage fight training to supplement his now nearly sixteen years of acting and classical & contemporary music study.
Mr. Andrews cut his teeth in motion picture on an intensive 30-day shoot in West Virginia as one of twelve principal background performers forming a trusted unit of reusable near-camera military personnel to fill scenes in J.J. Abrams' throwback thriller 'Super 8'. In 2015, he made his Motion Picture Principal debut opposite Rooney Mara in 'Carol', acclaimed director Todd Haynes' forthcoming adaptation of the Patricia Highsmith novel "The Price of Salt" also starring Cate Blanchette, Kyle Chandler and Sarah Paulson.
He works in graphics and branding design freelance and under contract with a small Midwest operation, has written speeches for delegation candidates for his Union Local and has been reviewed and rewarded in screenwriting and poetry competitions for over a decade.
