About me
Steven Emerson is a freelance designer and animator from the United Kingdom. For over 10 years he has creatively helped many global and reputable brands. He specialises in 3D modelling and animation and graduated top of his class from University of Ulster with a first class honours degree in Design and selfie with James Nesbitt Since graduating he has moved straight into a head of motion role in UK design and animation studio, had the opportunity to brand design the city of Belfast, been publicly ousted by deadmau5 for using a simple preset, spoken at IBC for Maxon and NextLimit and is still creating an ever-increasing amount of 3D art with his everyday project.     Oxford Instruments - Andor, Balor Product Reveal AnimationAndor is an Oxford Instruments company who are specialists at the high-value end of the global scientific digital camera market. For this project, Andor were adding two new, state of the art sCMOS based cameras to their already industry leading lineup of microscopes. The cameras’ original CAD files were converted and optimised to be animated and rendered in Maxon Cinema 4D. All compositing and additional elements were added in Adobe After Effects.     Panasonic - Industrial Website Component RendersPanasonic sell many components, parts and devices, particularly to many Fortune 500 companies. They bring strategic innovation to their customers’ product developments. Their website required some sort of visual representation of these products both big and small. They needed a total of 57 different parts and components created and rendered. Maxon Cinema 4D with OTOY’s OctaneRender was used to created and deliver photo-realistic renders of their various parts, components and devices.

    We Love Blinds - Photo Realistic Venetian BlindsWe Love Blinds are a new online shop for ordering made-to-measure window blinds. They deal with so many variants of blind types, colours, materials and accessories that would have been an nightmare creating their online shop photography with the real products. Cinema 4D (with its incredible take system) and OctaneRender were used to model and render all the required variants of blinds including two scenes and 5 different camera angles.
