Hi I'm Stuart, an illustrator and designer from the flat lands of Lincolnshire. Which might explain my fear and fascination of mountains. I studied Illustration at the University of Lincoln, UK and graduated in 2014. I like printed textures, handmade type and riding my bike. My objectives for the future are to continue developing my skills and working on interesting projects with great people.
I specialise in editorial illustrations, typography and making maps. I would describe my style as naive and playful. I like replicating traditional printed methods so my work usually has a limited colour palette and some textures thrown in for good measure. I have been lucky enough to work with both local and international companies such as Penguin Random House, Proctor & Clarke and Autoweek Magazine. My work has also been featured in publications such as ‘Mind The Map’ Gestalten, ‘Illustrated Maps’ Monsa and IdN Magazine.
