Su has over 8 years of design experience working in museums and the cultural sector in the UK and abroad. Su has worked on projects with institutions such as the Olympic Museum, National Museum of Scotland, British Museum and the National Trust. Prior to this Su has worked on diverse architectural projects. Su has also lectured on architectural design and history. His teaching involvements include full time lecturing at UCSI in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, workshops with the Leicester University's School of Museum Studies, and being on the architectural crit jury panel at London Metropolitan University and Greenwich University.
Su has lead on many museums and exhibition design projects at Metaphor. Major design projects involved include the redesign of the new Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, the Museum of the Order of St John in London, Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, a new exhibition space at the Globe Theatre in London, a 3 year exhibition and a permanent archive exhibition for Marks and Spencer in Leeds, a masterplan for the National Portrait Gallery London, an intervention project at the British Museum London, the Olympic Journey exhibition at the Royal Opera House in London, and half a dozen National Trust properties. Su is currently designing 11 new Science & Technology and Art & Design galleries at the National Museum of Scotland; redisplaying the Scottish Collection at the Scottish National Gallery; redisplaying the Fashion Museum in Bath; and designing a new exhibition for the Globe Theatre in London. Su is highly skilled in translating clients' vision into compelling 3D visuals and is experienced in graphic design and branding. Recent graphic design works include graphics for a National Trust welcome project at Tyntesfield near Bristol, a permanent gallery at Chatham Historic Dockyard in Kent, graphic and branding installations at 7 museums and heritage destinations in Pennine Lancashire, and website designs for the Museum of Marco Polo (www.momarcopolo.com) as well as Metaphor's website (www.metaphor.eu)
