Creative storyteller and researcher based in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am interested in using different creative mediums to tell stories and experiment on new approaches to qualitative and ethnographic research to produce new and add to already existing knowledge bases. I have a particular interest in female-centric/ female driven stories and projects surrounding identities, community and the city.

  Joburg - A Vulnerable MomentI created this tiny snapshot of feeling lost and isolated in Johannesburg, my hometown, when everything and every one feels like its leaving you behind. During a 30 minute stroll through my neighbourhood with my phone, I decided to shoot what I was feeling and use that energy and emotions to tell a story and create something that others might relate to as well even if they felt that they cannot speak about it out loud.   Inside Out - Faces to Remember PlacesI initiated, led and photographed this group action because of my passion for storytelling, art and its dynamic relationship to space. I combined these passions to honour memory, celebrate and reclaim the personal histories and spaces of my community.
