About me

Currently working as a freelance photographer in Kent and London. I shoot portrait and urban architecture/landscapes. My fascination with the human condition is endless and nothing excites me more than finding interesting places in London or other cities to photograph or photograph people in. I believe Visual Storytelling starts with laying down the foundations that set the scene for the story, the story being the person and foundations being a location and without the foundations nothing can be build. Locations = people.

I worked as part of a small team to curate a one day film festival on Folkestone's Harbour Arm, using the outdoor screen. Together we put together a programme of events including a Q&A with two established filmmakers working nationally as well as a workshop for the public and two feature length screenings. The festival was called Animation Matters and explored the theme of marine pollution in our workshop. Wanting to combine current global issues with a family friendly festival.

DoP on a music video for a local musician from Devon. This video can be seen my my Vimeo and is the first time I shot using a dolly track. On this project my focus was on attaining the best outcome for the client in question. He made many specifications and I and my team adhered to them the best we could. We built a 360 degrees dolly track around the band and I manually shot the video in circles. The use of ARRI lamps was also essential the specs of this video as they created desired lens flare. Since this job I have a greater knowledge of adhering the specs given to me by clients and I am a confident DoP for music videos.
