Returning for the second time meant I was given more responsibility for content creation for Body Line Gym, Bradford Sports Awards and Satsuma Loans. Sourcing material for Harrington’s pet food, and sourcing out sponsorships for events. Brainstorming and creative team meetings throughout time there. Collecting a wide range of research to create a daily newspaper so all the PR within the agency could keep up to date with the global news and trends. Working as part of the Accounts team, taught me how to write and understand a brief, organisation, and how to articulate a clients history and essence through branding, content creating and strategy.
Working in a creative partnership on briefs for various clients developed communication and creative teamwork skills. We worked together bouncing ideas off one another to develop concepts and ideas that showcase Asda’s insights for press, print and billboard. Copy writing and concept development for Help-Link. Ideation for DFS sofas print. Kenra products for Sallys Beauty, creating in-store, DM, and online content developing a greater interaction between the brand and audience. Image sourcing and research for Asda Local to get local insights on their audience. Comp development for Waggs print advertising, utilizing Adobe Suit. Alongside story boarding for Harringtons, in addition to concept and design for print executions. Developing executions that would encourage the audience to see the benefits the brand offers their pets. Working in a creative partnership on various briefs taught me team work, how to manage time, and organize ideas.
Consistent concept development, collectively collaborating with Art Directors and Copy Writers and being left alone to work independently within the creative department to meet constant deadlines and new briefings. Strong idea generation was used to create solutions for Newspaper prints for Halfords. Imaginative thinking used to create billboard advertising for Asda from 96 sheet to newspaper prints. In addition working on mobile banner adverts for Asda, encouraging the audience to engage with the brand. Brainstorm meetings and briefings with Creative Director and Accounts department. Following through the entire process of briefing, to concept development, directing designers and studio team to deliver creative solutions to client problems.
Fully integrated into agency, working with teams in social media, events, PR, print, ambient and online. Effectively researching and creating strategy for Genting Casinos so that the client could follow a path that led them to successful interactions with customers. Alongside producing PR social media for Kingston Press Cider. Working on various accounts taught me how to multitask and organise time, as the briefs and tasks were different, ending my time there by doing creative marketing and research for Yorkshire Bank ambient events. Involvement with the various teams taught me the importance of insights and meeting deadlines so that the relationship with the client grows and they become more reliant on the agency,
I was a Junior working across the departments, assisting and researching for the briefs, to working on concept, executions and presenting work to the client. I was able to utilize my creative thinking to develop concepts, ideas and themes for many of the agencies clients, from Davidsons Home Builders, Pirelli, Formpipe and BM Catalysts. I used Adobe suit to create designs and assist in website creations to develop tasteful websites for customers online interaction with brands. Alongside using Campaign Monitor and Google Analytics to help show the client how we have helped them grow as a business. Account handling was also a responsibility I took on for Davidsons Home Builders, creating briefs, directing web developers and graphic designers, so that I could meet the clients needs, and regularly present the work back to them.
