I pursued a postgraduate degree in multimedia journalism that specialises in writing for print and online media.
This involved writing news and feature articles for newspapers, magazines and online platforms. The course also included acquiring new age skills like HTML and CSS coding for websites along with an understanding of practicing journalism and PR on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
As part of one of my modules (Magazine Journalism), I played the role of a sub-editor to a magazine we created as a class. Aptly named Athena, the lifestyle magazine was based around women empowerment and women's involvement in current affairs, art, entertainment and more.
Aside from my classes, I have co-created a website with fellow classmates that brings you the latest updates from the world of web entertainment called The Envoy Web which can be found at www.theenvoyweb.com
