As Manahatta is a more upscale establishment it taught me to deal with a different clientele and broaden my customer service skills, allowing me to cater my services to the customers needs. Moreover, I took the liberty of memorising the entirety of the cocktail menu and the ingredients to ensure that I represent the establishment well and can ensure the customer is satisfied with any recommendations I can give. Whilst I have only been at Manahatta a short time I feel I have learnt quickly and fit in well with the team.

Prior to my course I studied Philosophy in first year of University and perfected my academic writing and critical analysis skills, however the course didn’t suit my goals for my career and lead me to change paths. I have been surrounded by fashion and design my whole life as my mother is a seamstress, this ensured i fell in love with quality craftsmanship and fashion design. Acknowledging my strengths within communications and admin I chose fashion marketing to pursue further. I thoroughly enjoy the course but am eager to gain any experience possible within the industry.
