Being mainly in the performing arts industry for over 19 years as a dancer & now a choreographer/educator/teacher for nearly 9 years, I have revolved myself in the world of fashion through working with local/home-grown artists & touring experiences for Live Shows across multiple countries in the past. With the love and appreciation of style & fashion that is instilled in me, I once, as a budding entrepreneur, also founded a streetwear lifestyle store in the heart of the city at the tender age of 17, which spanned for over 5 years before shutting its door, due to bigger opportunities that were presented to me as a performer & a talent acquisition personnel/agent to young budding individuals, providing clientele locally & the Asia pacific.
While he was pursuing his dance career full-on, he was still able to achieve multiple roles related to fashion, predominantly, being a creative director with the Eurasian Association of Singapore, where he was tasked with multiple designers, to determine the vision, outlook, color palettes & final outcome of the costumes for dancers performing live on a national scale. On top of that, he has work on-set too, for music video/dance film-related as a wardrobe/fashion stylist.
Throughout the many years of his profession, Syarul has demonstrated numerous times that he is a reliable person with the ability to multi-task & operate under pressure, especially having to juggle both dance/creative-directing & fashion-styling at the same time.
