    My Media and Cultural Production course was embedded in cultural research and digital media production. During my course, I gained a broader understanding and engagement of the dynamics of the creative economy and its role in society. I was able to garner the ability to generate media content and acquire skills in photography, video, sound and web design and project management. As well as develop skills in writing and research to create innovative and appropriately framed creative media content. To prepare us as students, we're given ways to create pathways towards employment as creative professionals in a range of contexts from digital media production companies, to cultural organisations.
