Completed my final year at Sussex University studying Media and Communications in 2017. I have a particular interest in marketing and events and have had the opportunity to carry out work experience across a range of companies throughout my summers during both University and school.

My two-week internship with ESI Media fell during one of their busiest periods, and as a result I was able to work across the many areas within the events team. The three I worked were; The Rum Club, ReSet and the Evening Standard British Film Awards. Due to these all being at different stages of the process I was able help with a variety of jobs. These included dealing with last minute sponsors, finalising panellists and guest speakers, negotiating prices from locations to gift bags, and learning how to format ticketed events on Eventbrite for ReSet.

At Decca Records I spent a week working with both the marketing and promotions team. I helped map out a UK tour for an upcoming artist that included finding music venues and resolving multiple logistical issues, as well as creating many ‘release date’ single or album prints and confirming locations for upcoming events.
