Through consuming, appreciating and respecting the quality of talent that has entered the public arena via Universal Music throughout history, I have come to respect the professionalism and character that the company represents.
I have experience in many aspects of office administration. I have been responsible for ordering stock and office supplies, maintaining records, creating and updating inventories, scheduling appointments, booking meeting rooms and travel arrangements and greeting clients. While working for Clarion Events I was responding to client emails regarding enquiries and requests, while assisting the exhibitions and conferences team with contacting venues, caterers and liaising with appropriate individuals to ensure the delivery of physical tickets and agenda brochures. I was responsible for keeping a seamless flow of communication between myself and the various departments I needed to frequently exchange information with. I learned how to effectively prioritise and manage my time during university as I balanced studying with my employment and drama school commitments and writing commitments, as I frequently submitted pieces on music, arts and culture to QMUL’s online magazine CUB, therefore, I’m used to variation in my day and can adapt and focus in situations of unexpected occurrences. Furthermore, as I studied Comparative Literature and Linguistics my assignments required immense research in addition to adapting my writing style to different formats and collating large amounts of data into tables, reports and presentations. Throughout my degree, I learned how to take complex detailed information and turn it into engaging and accessible copy.
While I was working at Vodafone I learned how to use the various systems needed to complete processes throughout the working day, as well as opening the store and completing end of day tasks. My line manager relied on me to teach new staff how to use the systems and I was the point of contact for technical assistance in store. I’m skilled in MS Office, WordPress, Salesforce, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram. Working as a sales advisor in Soho gave me the opportunity to improve my communication skills by interacting with clientele from all walks of life in the culture hub of London and by learning how to adapt my mode of communication based on the individual I’m interacting with.
I love music and need it to soundtrack my life indefinitely whether that’s my daily commute to work or turmoil on the treadmill, it’s like rosé in the summer, an essential. I sing and always have my notebook ready for whenever a random but decent concoction of words pop to mind – in other words I write songs. Festivals, concerts, gatherings with an abundant playlist are where I mostly try to situate myself. I’m confident working for a globally renowned company who pride themselves on creating incredible pieces of art would highly compliment my own strengths and enthusiasms. I would love to be considered as an addition to Universal Music UK, and I’m available for interview at any time.
Yours sincerely,
Tacita Bugnath
