I am currently pursuing a fashion communications and business degree at the University of Brighton, where I gained valuable insights into the ever-evolving world of marketing and branding. My coursework has equipped me with a solid foundation in campaign strategies, consumer behaviour, and brand management, which I am eager to apply to a real-world setting. Moreover, my academic experience has honed my ability to think critically and approach challenges with creativity and innovation.

My family moved from Austria to the east end in London in the 1940’s, with no secure jobs in a new country where they did not speak the native language. However this did not stop them from using their transferable skills, which was tailoring and dressmaking, like many others in the East end. I concentrated on the various ways that body types became fashion trends. Over time, social media has normalised our modern corset, which has manifested in plastic surgery. With more and more individuals purchasing shape wear, and Spanx being non biodegradable, the trend toward "bodies" is not sustainable for anyone mental health nor the environment.
