About me

Born in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia 1996 and raised in Leeds, England, Taliah Lamont was surrounded by the arts and cinema since she was a child. Making her own stop-motion animations at home, and her own 'films' through the video recording capability on the Sims 2, she was fascinated by the idea of storytelling. This passion carried her education through as she starred in musicals, plays, and participated in collaborating with the older students on business films for both her highschools. Two of these films would win her an award from both the ex-general director of the BBC, Greg Dyke, and the Duke of York, Prince Andrew, in Buckingham Palace before she graduated in 2013. These awards would lead to her decision to attend a BA (Hons) Film Production course at Middlesex University in 2015, where she would go on to not only discover her passion for producing but where she would also find her second-year film, Potty the Plant, playing at film festivals internationally and winning multiple awards across the UK, cementing her drive to make bigger and better films.
