About me
Talin Tariq is both my name and brand name. I am a fashion Design student (class 2020 ) who mainly focuses on color and print. I work with a variety of garment types, which include menswear, womens-wear, and kids wear. The reason behind that is mainly focused on the wellbeing of everyone. Through the colors, prints, and silhouettes, the Designs have an emotional impact on others, in a positive way. I’ve gained a lot of experience throughout my course, with pattern cutting, stitching, and textile designs. This has improved my creativity in giving me more ways to express my ideas. After collaborating with a UK brand, “The Quarter Masters” in designing a sweatshirt, I realized that I would really love to become a textile print designer.
Projects
  • FARAGH || CONCEPT VIDEO
    FARAGH || CONCEPT VIDEO“FARAGH” is the state of confusion. Holes in garments represents the empty state of mind, randomly placed on the fabric, with green tones that indicates someone that lacks experience, yellow, something that is not useful, and grey for the fogginess of mind. Using aspects of cargo pants, which is now a trend in street wear.

    In the short time I've worked closely with the team at our flagship store, I re-arranged the merchandise in-store, assisted with the marketing and sales plan and aided in our digital platforms. In addition to these tasks, I've used my talent in fashion photography to greatly create a gallery of photos available for their social media page as well as marketing. During the 6 weeks, I have been mostly trained on the business aspects of fashion from designing to fabric sourcing, production, labeling ending to customer relation and satisfaction.
