About me
I'm a qualified Journalist and Digital Content Producer with an online, editorial and production skill set. I'm really passionate about creating written and visual content that evokes conversation and change. I'm a story-teller and communicator with a knack for using broadcast, editorial and video mediums to create content for the best possible impact. Last October I put together a very successful screening night for my first indie documentary, Leaving Home At Seven which was created to give a platform to African and Caribbean Brits who left home their homes as children, and what their experience living in the UK was like- in light of Brexit and the very traumatic Windrush scandal. I've had the privilege of working for media companies including Premier Radio, Metro.co.uk and TBN UK as a Digital Producer and Video Producer, and I've created both written and video content including my original productions: The D Word and Can You Be Woke and Be a Christian?. I've written articles and features for Christianity Magazine, Valour Magazine, Metro.co.uk and Black Beauty and Hair Magazine and in 2012 I independently published my first children's Spaghetti and Cheese Please. I'm also a freelance presenter for national radio station Premier Christian Radio, as a regular go-to cover for the daily women's show, Woman To Woman, and a weekend presenter for contemporary station Premier Praise, every Saturday and Sunday.
