Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously, I have a proven track record in developing and executing collaborative projects that nurture solutions to critical sustainability issues. Programme Manager at Fashion District - a hub for fashion innovation in east London connecting fashion, technology, business and education to provide innovation networks, affordable space, business support and investment.
- Programme leadership: Designed and built award-winning cultural placemaking programme that focused on themes of creativity, community, and net-zero. Successfully delivered 70 events, engaging over 4300 attendees and supporting 250+ start-ups through income generation and promotional opportunities.
- Analysed feedback and results from previous innovation challenges to produce a brand new and improved design-focused challenge that secured £25k sponsorship from PANGAIA and support from Business ofFashion, Selfridges, Institute for Positive Fashion, EllenMacArthur Foundation, Phoebe English, ReLondon, Innovate UK and more.
- Used scenario planning to generate 6contingency plans for the Fashion District Festival 2023 that mitigated risks relating to space availability. 1 plan was successfully activated, resulting in greater exposure for 11 sustainable and digital fashion start-ups to new local audiences.
- Built relationships with key stakeholders to generate £121k of in-kind support from 8 sponsors, including Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield and The British Council, and buy in from 57 delivery partners to facilitate a 6-day programme of 36 events for the Fashion District Festival 2021.
- Created marketing strategies that focused on organic and earned media to drive brand awareness, which included increasing content creation and delivery by 150%, targeted marketing using partner networks and cross-promotion, resulting in 105% average increase of followers on Instagram and LinkedIn, and 110% increase in newsletter subscribers in under two years.
- Managed, directed and created 350+ social media posts and 40 website articles. Edited and proofread content created by colleagues and collaborators. Scheduled content across digital platforms using WordPress and Hootsuite.
- Worked closely with PR agency Sister London to promote the Fashion District Festival 2023 by preparing press releases and strategically selecting partners for interview, leading to increased brand visibility through 31 features with a potential readership reach of 103.8 million.
