I am a freelance director working across commercials, branded content and music videos. I am comfortable directing both large crewed shoots and self-shot projects. I work across the entire project, including pitching and treatments, pre-production, shooting and coordinating post. I work extensively with short-form to deliver compelling stories translated into dynamic and powerful films.
My work aims to form a union between striking visuals and my insatiable curiosity for people and the stories they have to tell. I was raised between the UK and Serbia, and have spent much of my life immersed in two wildly different cultures. This duality has formed a love of both art and social science, making me comfortable working within both the commercial and documentary worlds.
After being awarded a master’s degree in Visual Anthropology I took up the Directing Commercials course at the National Film and Television School. Whilst I chose not to become a career academic, anthropology has guided much of my writing, research and the way I approach all projects.

Directing commercials requires a wide and unique skillset; not only must a commercials director have creative vision, technical knowledge and the ability to tell a story in a very short space of time, but will also be able to successfully negotiate working in a commercial environment in a highly collaborative way.
I attended the prestigious NFTS on the Directing Commercials course, where the school facilitated us with practical production experience alongside specialist training including workshops and masterclasses with some of the biggest and most important names in the Film, TV and Advertising world.

My passion in life has always been people and their stories - and no other school of thought encapsulates this better than the field of anthropology.
Taught Masters in which I used my skills as a practical filmmaker alongside anthropological practices of fieldwork to develop the ability to find stories, connect with people, and carry out independent research projects to create films and photographic essays from start to finish.
Through this degree, I utilised my skills as a self-shooting filmmaker to carry out academically and technically rigorous research in the field of Urban Anthropology, in order to produce various film, photo and textual projects.
