Shakespeare's Rivals is a long-running research project run by professors Michael Cordner and Ollie Jones at the University of York. The project seeks to work with a variety of actors on speeches by Early Modern playwrights, such as Jonson, Middleton, Rowley, Dekker, Ford and Heywood, with the aim of inciting new ways of reading and performing such work.

I began coordinating and hosting events in 2019, and have since organised 6 daytime and 4 evening events. The events are each organised around a distinct theme, but the collaborators involved may do (and have done) as they please with the given information. The collaborators involved range between musicians and theatre practitioners, visual and performance artists, documentary makers, drag artists, meditation experts and yogis, choreographers, dancers, chefs, political activists, religious activists, graphic designers and app designers.

BA (Hons) Theatre: Writing, Directing and PerformanceUniversity of York
     - York, United Kingdom
Over this three year BA, I honed my skills as a theatre-maker at large; gaining experience directing both classical and contemporary works, including both original productions, and an online production during the 2020 pandemic, I wrote and edited original scripts for the stage, designed costume and set for both large and small-scale productions and performed in both scripted and improvised productions. While this degree was intensely practical, it also required me to achieve highly through my academic writing across a broad range of topics, and pushed me to develop marketing and management skills; necessary skills for any and all managed and freelance arts endeavors.
