• I am solely responsible for the digital and print articles, commissioning expert opinions, writing standalone features and conducting interviews with industry leaders
• I supervise the daily news feed, sourcing press releases and publishing them at a standard suitable for global airport leaders
• I have extended our content channels; introducing podcasts, videos and columnist features
• I attend events and media roundtables across the global, representing the brand, networking with professionals and discussing the future of aviation
• I recently implemented a redesign of the brand – changing the visual aesthetics of the magazine and setting KPIs to ensure brand growth, for example, increasing our subscribers and page views by 50 per cent. It is my responsibility to ensure every member of the team is working towards securing these targets
• I single-handedly produced a five-day programme for a virtual event, commissioned high-quality speakers, addressed hot topics within the industry and moderated the sessions
• I manage the Junior Editor and Sub Editor, setting their tasks each day and monitoring their individual progress. I was involved in the recruitment/interview process and training plan for these roles
• I work alongside the commercial team to ensure the brand grows financially whilst remaining true to our readers.
