Project Manager and DesignerSão Paulo, Brazil
About me
Brazilian, 38 years old, married + a daughter. Since ever, I´m driven by two inclinations: logical-mathematical and visual-spatial. My timeline is a sequence of deliveries that includes problem solving, strategy, crafts, arts and drawing. Early in my professional life, I struggled trying to adapt to just one of these dimensions. But a few years ago, I realised that (like everyone else :), I am non-binary. My best moments came when I was able to combine my distinct innate skills. Further, my creative mind is enchanted by colours, art, and mainly, PEOPLE and different CULTURES. I am passionate about discovering the world, experiencing and surprising myself with new possibilities.

In a growing group of techniques, I personalize garments with drawing, textile printing, crochet, splatter and embroidery (only by hand). All results are unique, the clothing turns into to pieces of exclusive art.

Since childhood, I hold artisanal inclinations that were – somehow – hibernating during my early technical/corporate career. But, in 2015, I rescued these aptitudes by trying some specific courses (at first, just for mental health). It turns out that, what came, was so intense, so successful (I´ll present a few moments in the final pages of this document), that it became clear as my true purpose in life. In 2017 I launched a personal plan to switch my main professional occupation from traditional Corporate to Self-made Business, where I could (freely) combine my management experience with creative skills. Ready, in 2019, I founded MEENU: an atelier for handcrafted wear and custom-made interventions in clothes and accessories. In a growing group of techniques, I personalize garments with drawing, textile printing, crochet, splatter and embroidery (only by hand). All results are unique, the clothing turns into to pieces of exclusive art. For now, I run (and grow) online sales, with on demand projects (about 5 orders/week). I am experiencing all the challenges of entrepreneurship: business plans, logistics, finances and daily problem solving :). Yet, I am incredibly pleased to deal with people and feelings: my designs are created from what my customers tell me about their own experiences, life and preferences. I translate their thoughts into my crafts, as an exercise of self-esteem and empowerment for those who wear it.

Head of Project Management OfficeBNP Paribas Cardif
     - São Paulo, BrazilFull Time
At Cardif, I became manager (2013) being recognized for structuring a New Business Implementation area. As Head of the PMO, I controlled more than 25 concomitant projects per year (locally – Brazil, and regionally, in Latin America). Highlight → Customer Service Channels Expansion Program, leading deliveries related to service availability improvement, such as: adding whatsapp, chatbot, mobile apps, website efficiency with UX design and NPS measurements. About Team Management: In 2017, Cardif’s Digital Team launched an internal contest to promote innovation. Always focused on Inspiring People to Deliver Efficient Solutions, I encouraged the participation of my team, evaluated their ideas and supported preparation of each presentation. The Company’s 3 best projects where selected for final presentation to Executive Committee. My team took 2 places and won the competition . In my final role at Cardif, I led 6 Project Managers (4 seniors and 2 specialists), with daily follow-up to strengthen their autonomy. In addition, I experienced hiring, eventual layoffs, constructive feedbacks, performance evaluation and career development plans.

    11st New Fashion Talents • 2017SENAI
Once a year, the Textile Department of Senai Sao Paulo launches a fashion competition for students (all levels can apply, from technical/qualification courses to graduation). In 2017 the theme was Contemporaneity. This contest evaluates all production steps involved in a Fashion Collection: concept, execution and presentation. There is a final show with the 5 best projects (selected after 3 rounds), when the Judges (executives of the largest Textile Industries in Brazil) choose the winner. With an authorial collection, I approached the subject-matter looking at the contemporary super connected world as a Wanderlust traveler. If this niche circulates in multiple weathers, cultures and realities, all the carried looks should be adaptable and exchangeable, providing an efficient and aesthetic luggage. I personally performed all steps: design (outfits and textile printing), modelling, cutting, sewing, casting, styling and runway show direction. It was a 4-month (non-stop) plan, where I applied my project managing skills . 360 Degrees won first prize, among more than 300 registered projects. The final presentation included an ambience, where I reproduced a sensorial experience – “as a traveler”. Combining key symbols from 10 different ethnicities with an aroma dispenser, viewers where invited to feel my presentation (not just watch).

    SENAI BRASIL FASHION • 2017SENAI
Senai centralizes national textile initiatives in Rio de Janeiro (the Textile Chain, previously called SENAI CETIQT). Until 2018, it hosted the largest Fashion Show in Brazil: senai brasil fashion – a popular annual event for students, with top Models, top Fashion Designers (as mentors), lots of press, headed by the most important names in Brazilian fashion.   Only one designer from each of the 16 states (where Senai maintains textile departments) was able to join it, after a selective process. In 2017, I signed up with my 360Degrees Collection (winner of the Sao Paulo New Talents contest), and I was chosen to represent my state.   Being coached by Alexandre Herchovitch, I redesigned my exchangeable looks, creating a standard outfit. It was worn in 3 different ways, by 3 ethnically different models (including a man, extending the adaptability concept to gender). The Fashion Show took place at Museu do Amanhã, in November’2017. It was one of the amazing moments of my life :).
