About me
A History graduate who has experience in successful event management, marketing and leadership, with strong written and verbal communication skills. I am proficient with large scale management of events and am able to communicate confidently with large and small groups in a professional and engaging way. As an ambassador, I gave many tours of up to 15-35 people and spoke to many parents and prospective students. I always ensured I conveyed the messages clearly and customers understood and received all the information they wanted. I am experienced in digital marketing and capable of liaising and maintaining professional relationships with clientele. In managing and organising a Latin student night, I used social media to market the event and collaborated with many societies, students and companies, creating a base of clientele and a digital community. I have excellent organisational and time management skills. I utilised these skills through the use of digital technology, such as calendars and Google docs, separating and sharing tasks, along with calculating everything through the strategy, focus and commit technique, setting time goals. This allowed me to complete my final year of University, whilst working as an ambassador, as the manager of La Bomba (a Latin student night), president of belly dance, as well-as being a part of salsa, pole and fencing society As a history graduate, I also have an eye for detail and can carry out effective research and data analysis. I am capable of editing and proofreading. History has also taught me the power of perspective. This allows me to offer different viewpoints from many different angles and opinions, which is very beneficial for problem-solving, creative thinking and teamwork. As an avid Skillsshare user, I am consistently working on developing and gaining new skills and knowledge, currently taking courses on digital marketing, leadership, analytics and ASL.
