Work history
Design Assistant
- London, United KingdomInternship
I worked with a new designer, Jude where I learned many new skills including how to work with leather. In previous years I had only worked with materials such as jersey, denim, silk, etc., therefore it has been an exciting change to work with leather. I have learned to sew leather, and use different fastenings such as rivets and buckles. I have also learned how to work in a fast environment and to a higher standard of finishing garments. Furthermore, I have had experience of purchasing, where I had to follow instructions and travel through London to search for finishings and fabrics.
