About me
Taz dorodi is an ambitious, creative and highly motivated individual fashion design graduate of 2020.With several years of experience in pattern cutting and making clothes, she is willing to do things that are very challenging and valuable. Her high interest in bespoke design ( made-to-order ), especially in tailoring is the key to creating her one off piece of clothing. She believes that clothes should make women feel strong, sexy and empowered and each piece of clothing comes with its own individual style. '' It's still worth remembering that bespoke clothing not only can make us look unique, but what is more important , fits out body well and gives us the feeling of absolute comfort ''
  • THE VANISHING SCARFThe inspiration is based on observations from a form of self-reflection and the personal experiences of the designer and relates this autobiographical narrative to a broader cultural, political and social context and awareness as well as many collective perspectives on the advancement of gender equality and women's empowerment in society. My aim is to promoting it so that women can have the right to dress in their own way without being criticized by society or the opposite sex or even their own
  • Tazzidesign X Huddersfield Textile OfficialThis was one of the most excited opportunist I had during my study abroad. I got to design and make a three pieces of tailored clothing with the amazing cloth sent to me by Huddersfield in less than a week. I got to travel to Florence, Italy and shoot the full outfit with their amazing photographer ( Shaun Darwood ) . This led us to great friendship and also best business partners for life. After that I got to do more work with them and I can't wait to share.
Work history
    Head ladieswear designerJacob Brian Clothier
     - Huddersfield, United KingdomPart Time
It all started with Huddersfield textile/cloth sponsoring me and wanting to have a shoot in Florence, Italy at the Pitti oumo event. From there, they offered me a place as head ladieswear designer to start my own line. Started pretty well but then the Covid-19 hit us so I had to leave. But hopefully once everything has cleared I will go back and become a womenswear clothier/tailor beside growing my own individual brand.
