Tejal is a Coventry based Illustrator passionate about exploring design inspired by cultural heritage and identity.     Coventry Artspace 'What We Wore: Stories of South Asian Textiles' Exhibition at St. Mary's Guildhall (July 28th - 29th September 2023) - Created an Illustrated Map of South Asian Textiles in celebration of South Asian Heritage Month 2023 and Hardish Virk's South Asian Archive in collaboration with Coventry Artspace. - Participated in an interview by BBC CWR Breakfast with Phil Upton about the Exhibition Launch with Hardish Virk. Stories That Made Us: Illustrating a Sense of Self-identity (September 2022) - Created an Illustration and written blog post talking about the importance of South Asian Archives. - Conducted video calls and an in-person meeting with the client to discuss the commission progress and later record an audio interview about my own South Asian History. Manachi: These Kingdoms Never Slept - A Creative Food Anthology Collaboration by Our Shared Cultural Heritage (June - November 2022) - Created a South Asian food Illustration that was chosen and published in the Food Anthology.
