About me
Temi is a British-Nigerian filmmaker who is passionate about telling stories that spark conversation and inspire new ways of thinking. Before becoming an independent filmmaker, she worked at the Guardian US and BBC Worldwide as a director of creative strategy in New York and London. Whilst there she helped connect brands through storytelling to the global and influential audiences of these award-winning media companies. She returned to Europe in 2015, spending considerable time in Berlin to challenge her creativity, expand her network and tell bold and inspiring stories, and produced over 50 short films, self-released her debut EP 'A Battlefield of the Mind' and produced a number of experiential events in Berlin and an editorial feature for Vogue Germany around the topic of representation of minorities in media. In January 2020, her documentary Brexit: The Untold Story screened at Soho House Berlin and she’s currently developing a slate of narrative film and TV projects.
