I helped an ambitious startup in the fitness industry launch its app and build its social presence, contributing in content strategy, social media marketing, community management, influencers outreach and visual content creation. The app is about offering on-demand fitness classes, mostly focusing on running, so the goal was to create an engaged community that wants to become part of the Skyfit mentality and commit to frequent running. As I analysed the audience I started creating and curating relevant content, which led to an increase of engagement by 40% in the past 6 months, while the app turned out to be popular, being highlighted by iOS store in the best new apps in the fitness category.
My passion for writing and social media led me to these two guest blogging positions, on which I am writing about social media, content marketing, and blogging. Both sites focus on social media and the very specific niche allows me to interact and network with an audience that either works on the digital sector, or wants to learn more about it, helping me serve as an influencer on the field, creating posts that lead to hundreds and usually thousands of views.
I worked as a social media manager for a new startup in the greeting card industry, helping them establish their social media presence, as long as their blog, being responsible for their social networks, the community management, the content writing and the content planning. I have helped them ap- Tereza Litsa T 07481948699 00306944665824 Mail: [email protected] Site: www.terezalitsa.com Twitter: @terezalitsa proach creators through social media, engaging with them and turning them into ambassadors of the company, exploring any type of collaboration, from interview posts to social media featuring. We managed to gather more than 700 enthusiastic creators that were interested in Thortful, which also required further planning and management in terms of the ways we could keep engaging with them on social media, while also finding new ones. What's more, I helped with the content management and its distribution on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, while I also set up their presence on Pinterest and Google+. I was also helping with visual content creation when needed, while I was also part of the first social campaign at the time the site and the app were officially launched. Despite being a fixed 3-month contract, it was a valuable experience for me, helping a startup from scratch to establish a social presence and create content that is both interesting and appealing. It's great 'wearing many hats' when working at a startup and it's a great way to develop more skills.
Printl is a startup that offers printing for Instagram pictures and after its successful launch in Ukraine, it aimed at an international audience. I was hired to be the person that will set up, optimise and manage the social networks for Printl, addressing a wider audience, targeting new users and increasing the reach of the company. What’s more, I’m responsible about the blogger outreach, the communication with photographers and other users that collaborate with Printl and anything related to the international expansion of it. Moreover, I’m also responsible for the social graphics, creating high quality content, since the brand is all about quality on its own. Since Printl relies on Instagram, we focused on Instagram, creating a community of amateur and professional photographers, which participate on contests and photo themes that we create, which led to a 40% increase of followers within 5 months. I was the one that stressed the importance of a blog presence, helping to set up a modern Wordpress blog and afterwards managing it, creating a content strategy that boosted both our community, but also our site traffic. I was afterwards the only responsible for it, creating niche content on photography and Instagram, tweaking it for SEO reasons and collaborating with Instagram users for guest posts, reaching after 5 months of blog presence to an audience of 8000 users and 11000 views monthly, with an average of 3 to 4 posts
I was the first person that was hired outside US, due to the recommendation of an employee, with whom I have worked together on technewsgadget.net. Although it was a part-time position, working for Posse has helped me feel part of a team, became more professional and learned more about the use of social media. I was managing Posse's social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Google+, Pinterest and also managed the accounts of 3 clients when I first started. I was also among the content writers of their blog, with my writing skills being praised many times. What's more, I was responsible about the creation of the graphics and the infographics for each blog post and social media post, which were enhancing the visual attraction of them.
