Bay&Brown is a print design in London renowned of it's authentic interpretation on current trends and for its hand drawn and hand painted qualities. The studio sells prints to a range of different countries in Europe, USA, Brazil and Turkey. As I designer I develop a small collection weekly (between 6 and 8 designs) interpreting a current trend for a specific market. I'm also responsible for the sales in Brazil the country is among our most important markets and I had a deep knowledge and networking in the area as I previously worked as a fashion designer and product developer in Sao Paulo for nearly 10 years. As a sales person I travel to Brazil about every 6 weeks and I visit clients in different cities. I am responsible for the whole process from planning trips, prospecting and offering after sales support.
• Collaborated with designers to determine fit and aesthetic details to womenswear and girlswear collection. • Coordinated a team of the product development, including pattern makers, cutters, and sewers, ensuring the designers’ ideas were well-interpreted, and solving issues creatively and with fast decision making. • Prepared and attended fit session with designer, proposing alternative methods of construction. • Approved fits with attention to details and ensuring the patterns were updated and ready to production. • Sourced fabrics, trims and embellishments. • Tested and approved fabric samples and ensured correct labeling to products. • Handled collection to showroom, worked with short deadlines. • Liaised with the sales department.
• Assisted developing girlswear collection for brand “PUC”. • Designed artwork for allover, placement prints, embellishment and embroidery. • Created technical drawings using Kaledo and preparing tech packs for the factories. • Participated in styling and model selection for product line photoshoot. • Presented collection to the company's team, franchise buyers and store managers through fashion boards and fashion shows. • Liaised with sales and marketing departments. • Participated on "PUC's" rebranding generating new concepts for the brand.
• Designed jeanswear and woven for the women’s wear brand “Clock House” • Presented trend forecast and collections to buyers • Prepared accurate tech packs for national and international suppliers • Liaised with suppliers and visited factories on regular basis • Worked closely with buyers, creating the collections according to their sorting plan and price ranges • Conducted field researches analysing competitors
