I have just graduated from the University of Leicester receiving an Upper Second Class Honours in Psychology, specialising in Judgement and Decision making. During my final year, I primarily researched Nudge and Boost decision making systems, producing a final scientific report comparing and contrasting their respective applications for advertising and wider uses. Whilst on a gap year (2015-16) I had the opportunity to experience Planning and Strategic internships, where I applied my unique approach to advertising by identifying consumer trends through market and nominal data. During my tenure at Geometry Global I worked on a diverse range of clients including GSK, Coca-Cola and Heineken. I look forward to hearing about any internship or junior planner opportunities.
During my time at Geometry I worked closely with senior planners, strategists, insight managers as well as account managers and creatives. I was deployed to research and identify market trends using a diverse range of tools and principles which included Mintel Reports, Government research as well as academic data. Some of my research was pivotal to an article written by the CEO, Sarah Todd, about shopper trends over Valentine's Day. http://www.lbbonline.com/news/the-drivers-of-valentines-shopping-are-not-what-you-think/ Accounts I worked on included: *TREsemme *Frico *Heineken *Coca Cola *Vodaphone *IHG *GSK
I was given daily tasks which honed my skills using the full Adobe Creative suite to edit and retouch creative imagery. I was also used as a runner for the studio, liaising with both external clients and Saatchi & Saatchi creative art directors.
During my final year I specialised in Judgement and Decision making, primarily investigating Nudge and Boost decision making systems
