About me
Thida is an Urban Designer with 12 years of experience in architecture and urban design across various sectors and multi-disciplinary teams. She has been involved in large scale and significant city-shaping projects with a growing portfolio of work-based in Sydney and Melbourne.
Thida has significant recent experience in delivering architecture and urban design for new Australian rail networks and other large scales civic, infrastructure and transport lead urban renewal projects. Her ability to provide holistic design from initial planning to detailed design has led to her involvement in the development of concepts and frameworks across various TfNSW flagship projects including Sydney, Newcastle and Parramatta Light Rail, and Sydney Metro. Her current project experience in Melbourne on the Victorian Rail Infrastructure Project as a Senior Urban Designer, Thida is involved across urban design and team coordination from many consultants working with interdisciplinary teams on a multiple and extensive program.
With a natural analytical and inventive approach to design, Thida’s attention to detail and creativity enables her to translate complex design through developing systems and producing compelling visual diagrams, maps and illustrations at various scales. She is highly proficient in freehand sketches, design documentation, 3D modelling, visualisation and graphic design presentations. Thida is a true polymath with a diverse background and interest across transport, health, education, master planning, residential, building information modelling and graphic design. Thida’s versatile visual and technical skills contribute to her solutions-focused mindset.
