About me
Why fashion? Styling? For me fashion is a way of expressing yourself without saying a word. You can be the most un-confident person in the world but put a killer outfit on that you feel great in and you can feel invincible. That feeling is something I have a huge passion in evoking in myself and those I work with. I believe I am an asset to styling teams due to my experience and understanding of how to act on set with relevant stylists and talent which I gained an understanding of not only through my experience in fashion but also my history as a professional dancer for the past 12 years.
I understand the importance of being organised throughout projects. From calling in/ returning items, carrying through to being the extra pair of hands a stylist needs on set wherever that might be and pre empting what might be needed to achieve the best end product needed before being asked, all done with attention to detail and working to the best of my ability’s at hours which can at times be antisocial.
In 2019 I completed a one month internship at Cosmopolitan under the direction of Amy Bannerman, Sairey Stemp and Maddy Alford. During my time at Cosmopolitan I learnt how to liaise with PR's, conduct street style research for fashion editors on current and future trends, return and call in items for shoots in a time frame that both worked for the magazine and PR/ Brands, work with fashion editors (when asked) on edits for fashion stories/ covers and real life pieces and finally to go above and beyond what is being asked to get whatever task has been assigned completed.
Other experience includes assisting and second assisting stylists such as Ellie Witt, Krishan Palmer, Jessie Culley, Lauren Groves, Michael Miller, Thomas George Wulbern, Natalie Roar, Graham Cruz and Kim Howells and recently have become lead stylist for shoots with my own clients such as Amber Davies, Claire Sweeney, Denise Van Outen, Wella and Grazia Bulgaria.
