About me

I’m currently working as a studio manager at Rankin photography and have been for the past year. As a studio manager I work incredibly close to all departments in the studio however predominantly with the production team/photographic team and Rankin himself. As a fully functioning production company and having all departments in house our studio is extremely busy with and without shoots happening, my job is to make sure the studio is running to the best standard it can be, shoots are being properly planned, pre production is set, scheduling, kit maintenance, manage finances and personal Rankin requests and fulfilled. As a growing and extremely fast paced studio everyone needs to be quick on his or her feet and carry out his or her jobs to the highest standard. As someone that has progressed from a photographic assistant to studio manager I know exactly what it takes to make a shoot run efficiently. I know how all of our equipment works, I know how to set the cove ready for the shoot, and being an assistant I know how to book couriers, maintain the studio and look after clients.
