The project worked with local businesses, community groups, the arts, and both public and private sector organisations to regenerate North Finchley Town Centre. We ran a series of consultations with many local people, organisations and businesses in the area to find out what people wanted in North Finchley. We recycled a fantastic space and restored the beautiful Art Deco Grand Arcade to embody and promote culture, community and commerce through an Art Gallery, a Co-working business lounge and a hireable pop up retail and restaurant community space. I was responsible for the day to day running of the project, co-ordinating activities, events, exhibitions and developing a sustainability strategy that enabled the project to run beyond the cessation of grant funding.
