I have just finished my final year as a Graphic Design student at Nottingham Trent University. I would say that primarily, I specialise in Branding/Advertising, Video and storytelling. I love to create new campaigns and adverts for brands; watching the consumer connect with a brand as a result of my work really satisfies me! Recently I have been showing story telling through video which combines my interest in photography and moving image. However, I love combating problems with design and I never shy away from a new challenge and I am always up for giving anything a go!
Experience wise (so far), I was tasked with creating a new logo for my College while doing my Foundation Studies a few years ago. This was a great first insight into how the industry works, having to make Brand guidelines for the college was a big milestone for me as a student. This year I was fortunate enough to be shortlisted the RSA Mind Your Money competition. With this, I was invited to pitch my design solution in front of professionals from Natwest, RBS, the RSA, and other companies. As Trip Secretary for my Mountaineering Club at NTU, I weekly managed large groups of 30+ people taking them all over England and as far as the Dolomites in Italy. This drastically improved my speaking, pitching and time-management skills.
I am a thrill seeker who loves to take risks which are why my passions are Climbing and Mountaineering. This and design share a special place for me. Climbing has taught me so many life skills. Whether that is giving more trust to people, going into a mountain route not knowing the challenges that I may face, but having the self-belief that I will be able to overcome them, or simply having the attitude of 'where there is a will, there's a way.' I believe that these skills are directly transferable to the creative industry and aiding in becoming a successful designer.
Five reasons why I would be a great addition to the team:
1: I am proficient in core Adobe programs, i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
2: I am experienced in UI/UX, Photography, Video, Branding, Advertising and Digital design.
3: Have a 'can-do' attitude towards tasks and are willing to give anything ago.
4: I am friendly and proactive, someone that can work individually on briefs but equally I am a team player.
5: I take criticism on board and use it to better myself and my work, I am not afraid to speak up in team meetings and love to pitch new concepts and ideas.
I am a very out-going person who loves to meet new people and I feel like I would slot straight into the team! I am hard working, determined and a team player. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.

Stock ControllerTesco Ltd.
- March, United KingdomFull Time
As a stock controller and customer assistant, it was my job to maintain stock levels to ensure all shelves were filled at all times. I would deal directly with some of the smaller suppliers my store would buy from and often put orders in for the store. This helped my organisation skills and proves that I can be a reliable and trusted member of a team.
