About me
An internationally recognized design leader, currently as Director of Experience Design for one of Fast Company's ‘30 Most Important Design Companies of 2019’, fuseproject. For nearly two decades, I have led the design of integrated services, products and platforms for many of the world’s best-known brands. My thirst for diversity and global taste has helped cultivate a range of experiences, backgrounds and expertise that bridges disciplines and spans industries—including automotive, medical, consumer, retail, software, technology, telecommunications, finance, and many more. In my last 3 roles, I have made a professional pivot into the world of product design. A shift that has allowed me work to work with Second Story, Native Design and fuseproject. I have led product design teams on many new, innovative, connected product platforms and am passionate about the responsibility of designs’ role in improving people’s lives, creating value, meaning, and measurable impact. My recent involvement in some of the world’s most innovative automotive brands has helped me deliver award winning work spanning connected car platforms, production in-car HMI interfaces, autonomous vehicle experiences, motor show events, film, photo shoots, integrated campaigns, and numerous car launches. I’m a passionate design leader, bringing foresight and rigor to the consideration of design systems and patterns, progressive human-centric experiences, brand meaning and purpose, and quick, agile prototyping to ensure high quality execution and product success. My career has allowed me to work with amazing clients all over the world. I’ve lived and worked in LA, Seattle, London, New York, and San Francisco. As well as an active hands-on designer, I’m a passionate leader of creative teams – both small and at scale - with a design-driven approach and belief in creating meaningful tribes, healthy relationships, disruptive and challenging methodologies and approaches - and an environment that is sensitive and respectful of creative energy, inspiration and health.
