At university I gained competent writing skills, as well as experience and skills in different aspects of media and communication. I completed journalism assignments which included writing articles, interviews and essays. Through completing these assignments, I gained an eye for detail and got experience writing with different house styles. I also learnt to use adobe applications such as InDesign and photoshop and I gained experience researching, sourcing and contacting interviewees.
As a teacher I have gained a good knowledge of the different aspects of English grammar and syntax and I have enjoyed imparting writing skills onto students. Moreover, through presenting on a day-to-day basis I have picked up strong communication skills.
